I see you in the dark alley
Watching and waiting
For the innocent to walk by
So you might turn on them
Watching and waiting
For the innocent to walk by
So you might turn on them
I see you in the bedroom
Hiding under the covers
Stealthily using the darkness
To increase your power
But there’s one place I don’t see you
Where she leans towards the flame
Drawn by its beauty
Where she peers over the railing
Fascinated by the cars below
Where she crawls towards the socket
Mesmerized by the untold joys it must hold
Oh, how do I tell her about you ,O Fear,
when she doesn’t know that you exist?
