They stood face to face, noses almost touching. With clenched teeth, Diya said, ” You’re a useless, pathetic excuse for a woman! Why do you put up with this? “

 The other woman smiled ,brushed a strand of hair behind her ear and said, ” Because he’s just a teenager and doesn’t know any better.”

And Diya smiled at the mirror.
