I remember it so well. It’s as clear as day.
The day they wheeled me into the delivery room
The day you decided it was time to enter our lives
The day they told me I had been waiting for
The date that has forever imprinted itself in my memory
The date that I endured the greatest pain with the utmost pleasure
The date that I smiled through my tears as your tiny face nestled against mine
The date that will never, ever be just another one in the calendar
My date with my Destiny: My darling daughter, Gy’s birthday
This is written in response to the prompt “Date”
as part of the Marathon Bloggers’ Challenge for this week

A story for every picture, a picture for every story

Cute!! An unforgettable date for a mom indeed :). And loved this pic, she looks so vulnerable and tiny!

Doesn't she? I keep thinking how and when she grew up so fast!

Thank you Vishal. Yes, she looked so adorable that day 🙂

This is truly the best date ever. She looks just too tiny. I remember I was so scared of picking up the kids when they were born. It's am amazing feeling, isn't it?

Sometimes I forget how small she was. Looking at this picture is also a reminder to make sure I keep my 'Yelling Less' counter on track. When you see how vulnerable they are, you realise that it doesn't really change all that much as they grow older.

Aww…Gy looks oh so adorable in the pic! And yeah! after these kids come along, can there be anything more important, more precious in our lives! We're completely smitten!

Smitten is the word, SM! I look back at these pictures and wonder if I have soaked in those moments enough!

Good one.
Indeed she is cute that day and now. She the darling gave me the status PATTY. I was thrilled when heard through the phone Shailaja delivered baby girl. God bless her. I love both of you.
