Where am I?
I can’t find my glasses, they were here a while ago
Where is my Akbar? Can’t hear him bark
Has Imtiaz returned?
I hope he remembers to pick up eggs
A tear rolled down her cheek as her hands started to tremble
A pair of butterflies danced around her as she stared into the distance
A soft voice whispered in her ear, ‘Don’t worry, I am here.
Here are your glasses. Imtiaz is back home and Akbar is sleeping in the yard.’
Seven- year- old and seventy- year- old looked into each others’ eyes. Nothing but love.
