Somehow, the last two photos have been from our trip to Goa! One of my favourite trips  with family, for a variety of reasons.

We actually drove all the way from Bangalore to Goa, which lasted us 10 hours and a brief overnight stay at the Dudhsagar spa and resort.

Gy got to spend an enormous amount of time at the beach, getting sand everywhere!

We took this break during Diwali, which was one of the best, noise-free years I have ever had.

We spent 5 days on this trip and enjoyed every second of it.

And we got to take some incredible snaps of our experiences too.

This one was taken at Colva beach, just the day after we landed. The streetlight flooding a small corner of the beach made for an eerily beautiful set of shadows that Gy never tired of looking at.

Standing there, watching our shadows fall behind us was a gentle reminder that there is beauty wherever we look. Even in the darkness.

Looking back at these days many years from now, I know that I will recall these moments, these touching reminders, this precious cargo of memories and the lengthening shadows, that Life has a lot to offer, if we can only just stand and watch these mementos being made.
