i am just i
independent
impermanent
indescribable
intangible
nothing really says it all
words cannot contain me
sentences may not define me
essays cannot do me justice
i am just i
i am intrepid
i am the idler
i am the mind’s i
for who can say that this body is i
or this life is i
not even this existence am i
take me as i am
flawed, loving, friendly
for i am just that
i

Don't stress. Let the novelty touch you. I did my thesis on his works and fell in love with the ideas he espoused. π
I was just wondering why there were no capital letters, and that's when I got the answer below the post π This surely is a novel approach π Appreciate the I's and the depth you've achieved in creating the poem !!

wow!! This poem is going to stay with me for a long time!
Beautiful poem. Take me as I am. So similar to what I said. Great minds think alike? π
Yes, we should question the use of capital letters for writing our names. One of the American authors I like is bell hooks, also because she writes her name with no capital letter :). Nice tribute you have given to i, all those i's there are in i, and of course to eec π
